Inspect track surface, layout, and runoff areas.
- Track surface free of holes, ruts, loose material, or significant surface damage?
- Track surface clear of debris, gravel, standing water, or foreign objects?
- Track draining properly with no flooding in low-speed or braking zones?
- Track boundaries and turn markers clearly visible?
- Runoff and escape areas clear and adequate for expected speeds?
- Track width adequate throughout with no pinch points or constrictions?
- Start/finish line and grid positions clearly marked?
Barriers and Spectator Protection
Inspect track barriers and spectator safety zones.
- All track barriers (tires, walls, Armco, hay bales) in place and intact?
